Secondary Schools Raises Thousands for Vision Charity

Vision was delighted to receive a cheque for £2500 raised by the pupils of Orleans Park School in Twickenham.  This was organised by the children themselves and it was their decision to choose Vision.

Vision decided to select a recipient for this money that the children would be able to follow closely and as a result we chose a building project at Linden Lodge, an all-age special school in Wandsworth for blind and visually impaired children, many of whom have complex difficulties.

Linden Lodge is not far from Orleans Park School and their Assistant Head accompanied Bernie Muir, Communications of Vision to receive the cheque at the school assembly.

Arrangements have been made to take pupils to visit Linden Lodge later in the term to see firsthand how their money is being used and meet some of the young people benefiting from the funding.
It is very impressive that the school encourages it's pupils to be more outward thinking and very touching that the pupils themselves have been so keen to help others in so many different ways and this is a real credit to all of those involved.
The whole Vision Team wishes to thank all the organisers and those who particpated in their fundraising activities for their support.
